TERMinator Doors

Connect with TERMinator and these doors switch to TRACE: full graphics drawn by your own computer, with the mouse, smooth text and real pictures, over the same BBS connection. Other terminals get an ANSI or picture version instead. The screenshots below are the TRACE versions.

TERMinator Weather

Forecasts for anywhere, from Open-Meteo. Current conditions over a live, animated sky, the next 24 hours as a chart, a 7-day outlook, wind, humidity, pressure, UV and sunrise to sunset. Pick your town, your units and a theme.

TERMinator News

A teletext-style tech news reader. Top stories, retro computing, tech and on-this-day pages with pictures, a full-article reader, Fastext colored buttons and a NEWSFLASH ticker. Type a page number like it's 1985.

Meshtastic Listening Post

A live map of the public Meshtastic network across the US, no radio needed. Every node the public feed has heard, colored by how recently, with the links between radios that heard each other. Zoom and pan, click a node for its details, read the public chat and watch the traffic stats.

Fractal Generator

Zoom into the Mandelbrot set in real time. TERMinator renders it on your graphics card when it can, deep enough to keep finding detail long after an ordinary renderer turns to mush.
